Sustainable development

Sustainable development at BEAL INTERNATIONAL s.a. is a conception of public interest aiming, thanks to the development of our business, to develop a vision of a fair society and the protection of the environment.

The concept of sustainable development is often assimilated to a “biological” and/or an “ecological” approach which is extremely simplistic. Sustainable development is a complete social philosophy enabling viable schemas to be defined reconciling the economic, environmental and social aspects.

These three aspects (economic, environmental and social) are the 3 main issues taken into account when a decision is taken at BEAL INTERNATIONAL s.a. These decisions are taken, among other things, in relation to the use of resources, the choice of investments, the direction of technological changes which must remain consistent with the future as well as with the needs of the present.

This is shown and confirmed in practice at BEAL INTERNATIONAL s.a. round economic, social and environmental aspects:

Economic:

The economic development of the company allows the investments in renewable energies to be studied (the ambitious project of total energy independence for 2020 is being studied currently).
The research financed by our development is directed towards products respectful of resources, the environment and the users.
The company does not work with or import any product coming from a country and/or organisation that has not recognised human and/or children‟s rights and does not take account of the respect of our environment, even if these products have profitability potentials clearly greater than the others.
Without forgetting than any organisational (work not declared...) or financial (tax evasion, ...) arrangement is carried out to avoid its responsibility for tax and social security contributions. These significant financial burdens (which may represent more than 30% of the income), assumed by BEAL® and each of its collaborators, allowing BEAL INTERNATIONAL s.a. and its collaborators to evolve in a national environment where:
- All citizens have a right to a minimum wage or unemployment benefits considered to be among the most considerable in the world.
- All citizens have access to healthcare and reimbursement for certain medicines.
- All citizens have access to social mobility through financing of professional and university training from the government.
- An enormous number of projects are financed by the public authorities affecting in particular the arts, scientific research, ...

Social:

The company does not work with or import any product coming from a country and/or organisation that has not recognised human and/or children‟s rights even if these products have profitability potentials clearly greater than the others.
The company and its collaborators pay significant financial impositions (which may represent more than 30% of the income), assumed by the company and each of its collaborators, allowing BEAL INTERNATIONAL s.a. and its collaborators to evolve in a national environment where:

- All citizens have access to healthcare and reimbursement for certain medicines.

Environmental:

The company does not work with or import any product coming from a country and/or organisation that does not take account of the respect of our environment, even if these products have profitability potentials clearly greater than the others.
All waste from BEAL INTERNATIONAL s.a. is sorted and disposed of through the recommended channels to enable a maximum of recycling and a controlled impact on our environment.
The company is currently studying the potential of renewable energies (the ambitious project of total energy independence by 2020 is being studied currently).
The company has decided to show the products combining the best ratio effectiveness and respect for the environment in its components.
